Food is fresh but the flavors are not so exciting. You leave expecting more bang for the buck. Very pricey for the quality/service.

They are closing when we walked in. MGR. Deric promised restaurant will stay open late for us. (Wow!) Both steak was cooked according to instructed & delicious. Salad really salty but we were starving. Enjoyed excellent services from Jenny. An amazing night for our family of 4 Thanks for the hospitality. Note: Open at 5pm closed at 8pm in winter time.

Every now and then you go to a restaurant where your expectations are surpassed… This is definitely the case was switched back. What amazing restaurant! I came here a few months ago and was very impressed with the quality of food and quality of service. Came again tonight, and got the same quality of food with the same quality of service. Perhaps the best restaurant in Springdale! I highly recommend one of their fresh seafood dishes. You won’t be disappointed! Grateful for an inspired Chef that brings such an incredible cuisine palate to this charming town. Would definitely return and And strongly recommend!

Came here on our first night of our Zion trip and it was delicious! Family ordered a wedge salad, crab cakes, kids steak and macadamia crusted halibut. Everything was cooked amazingly and presentation was excellent! Expensive place but I thought it was worth it. Always fun to go to at least one fancier place on vacation.

Had Thanksgiving dinner here. Everything was either under or overcooked and way overpriced.The only two good things were the desserts and service.This was our third Thanksgiving here, first two were buffets and hits and this year was not and a big miss.

Service exceptional by Lindsey, Cesar salad outstanding, meatloaf wrapped in bacon with stacked tomato slices with mushroom gravy was like nothing I've ever tasted before. There were 2 large piped "hoodoos"of mashed potatoes on either side, perfect complement to the meat. The portion size was triple what it needed to be so I just couldn't finish it. By the way, the focaccia bread was delicious & light, and full of flavor, the balsamic reduction served along side was sweet yet mild, a wonderful accompaniment. The other meals at the table were equally amazing!!! Strongly recommended.

Nice upscale restaurant with a modern decor. Staff was friendly and attentive and checked out table often and made food recommendations. We enjoyed our meal and drink pairing options. Parking was pretty ample but we went in the winter / off season. Seems like there are signs reserving spaces for patrons of the restaurant / shopping center only.

The steak is amazing. Calamari is good and spicy. The buffalo meatballs are good as well.

Great burgers awesome onion rings love this place. Always leave satisfied.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. It over an hour and a half to even get us our food. And when we decided it had been too long, and got up to leave no one even stopped us! Asked for manager, no one came. We walked out without paying for what we did eat because the lack of service of even coming by our table to see if we were okay. What kind of a place does that?!

The steaks are great here. High quality meat, nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wine list has a bit of an unusual structure (mixing grapes and countries) but the selection of wines is fine. For its large size the restaurant is relatively quiet.

Bartender was great... food highly overpriced and under seasoned... creme brulee was just pudding with sugar on top...

Fantastic steak - reasonably priced Porterhouse with three sides more than enough for two! The interior is quite cool with a fantastic large window to look out at the hills. The main disappointment was the wine - $57 for a really bad Cabernet. iPad style wine menu was quite cool. Service was generally good but let down by wine menu not being kept up to date and feeling mis-sold. We ordered the 2013 and the 2015 was served. When pointed out the manager explained this is what the state had sent. Didn’t seem a good enough excuse. They would not reduce the price which was pretty poor. We were offered to choose a different wine but felt pressured / rushed with two people stood over our table so left it - but the wine really wasn’t drinkable for me (partner finished it off however!).

i was impressed with the Venue. i was at a wedding down in Springdale last September and this place was beautiful! the Staff was great and the food was even better! this was a good choice!

This food was great. The customer service was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and would 100% recommend it to anyone passing through Zion. They have all different types of food that is suitable for anyone and the prices are great!

Very good! Rosemary was an excellent waitress that offered advice, and seemed genuine in her concern that we enjoyed our visit to the area along with the food we received. Most of the food was excellent. Side of Broccoli was pretty bland and overcooked. Macadamia nut encrusted Halibut was excellent, 24oz Ribeye was very good, Black sesame Ahi Tuna was excellent, but the side of mashed potatoes was an odd pairing. Chocolate Banana bread Pudding was phenomenal. All their presentations of food was spot on perfect.

Delicious dinner and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Everyone else is my party had delicious steaks.

Great service and delicious food

This restaurant is a little higher end, but well worth it. The food was spot on and perfect. We enjoyed a quiet dinner with a great view. A great way to end a crowd filled day of hiking.

Even though we didn't have reservations, they were able to get us a table in less than 30 minutes. The atmosphere is cool and the food was great. We had the calamari for a starter which is served with fried peppers and okra. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and my fiance had one of the daily fresh fish options: wild salmon. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because our server was not very attentive and service was a bit slow (We were there for over 2 hours).

We are visiting the area and found the Switchback Grille to be just the perfect place to have dinner. We were not disappointed. The exceeded our expectations....very good.

Excellent food and service. I went for a steak and was very happy with my decision to get the seared Ahi. So tasty!

Delicious food great views loved the staff

Food was good. I had the bison burger. My friend had the guacamole burger and a moose drool brown ale. Waiter wasn't very energetic/personable/attentive. There are only 15 tables and a bar here. You may have to stop the servers if you need a refill. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was nice, what you'd expect from a sports grill. May not be ready to accommodate a large group without a reservation or reasonable wait time.

Great food and atmosphere, prices are a bit high, but we'll worth it for a nice dinner after visiting Zion. We had a wonderful waiter, who took very good care of us. Beautiful restaurant, would definitely recommend!!!

Called ahead of time to make reservations but nobody answer the phone. Do you have all the way there to see a sign that said that they were close for remodeling, how annoying. Put it on your recording to say you were close for remodeling.

Good for a national park resort town. Less than spectacular going toe to toe with a metropolitan area steakhouse. Service average. Pricing included an entree, but sides cost extra. No starter. No salad. No desert. Two glasses of wine. $108 including an 18% tip. $$$$

This place was amazing so glad we got away from the campground for a night to eat at Switchback Grille. Our server Joshua was truly amazing and the food was to die for! And loved that the manager came out to help as well just to check on things. Love the Indian country feel to the place was very elegant and high class but don't worry no dress code. Most other tables looked as if they just finished a day of hiking and we're very casual. It was a great place to stop on our anniversary trip.

Very nice place with excellent view. The price of the meat was a bit expensive ($48 for 11oz) but definately good quality. I ordered the trout and it was great! Fresh and beautiful presentation!The service was also good, however way too fast to take out the dishes from us and bringing the bill. But I guess is just the American style.For 2 people: 2 beers and 2 dishes =$104

Awesome food an atmosphere!! The service was friendly and excellent food with superb presentation! I wish we took pics of our plates, they were spectacular! We had crab cakes as an appetizer. For our meals, pecan crusted trout roasted potatoes with seasonal veggies. Each sea scallop was on top of small mashed potato rosette and seasonal veggies. The plates were works of art!! A bit pricey $$$$, but excellent food for the price, service, and atmosphere!Definitely worth the visit if looking for a more upscale meal.

We ordered four entries and each one of them was as awesome as their description. The two homemade deserts that we ordered were fantastic! Highly recommended if you're in Zion, but beware of the pricey tags.

I visited this place while I was in town. Next time I'm around I'll be sure I make time to return. I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff from when I was greeted, sat down and checked on frequently to make sure I was taken care of. The meal was delicious and I'm so glad I stopped by. Thank you again for the great meal, friendly staff, & awesome environment. The chairs were amazing, comfy and elegant. The whole feel of the place was unforgettable. I really enjoyed my time while I was there, very soothing and relaxing ambient.

Quite a fancy place, good food. But they forgot to bring us utensils after bringing the food. Also please don't use plastic straws, they offer them with cold drinks. Owner: please switch to non-poluting materials, you are located in a breathtaking area, offering clean choices voes a long way.

I worked here, this place is well organized, and food quality is amazing. Look out for the daily specials, they change every night. Now they do and can do reservation online, I would book early in advance. During the season (March to November) we do get booked fast, and we have to put people on a waiting list. Groups they do, as well as catering for special occasions. Talk to Kristen, she does the bookings, and the surrounding area.If you want to have Thanksgiving here book a year in advance.Oh, also, getting a window seat will be hard to request in the evening.Have an amazing desert, drop in, they and we love all our tourist. 💌

My wife and I walked to the restaurant from our hotel room. When we got their the Restaurant closed for remodeling but the gift shop was open. We asked the attendant for a suggestion for a steakhouse. She rudely responded by saying" Do you not have a phone??" Not much chance we ever go there again.

Tasty dishes, good service, but a little pricey

Had a great experience both with the food and service. Easily one of the best spots in Zion!
